Every workout is a move in the game.

Your cat climbs, fights and levels up on the training you already do. Play a run below, find your class, flip the villains' armour and dress your cat. Everything here uses the app's own art and numbers.

The CataLift cat on a mountain peak, wearing a Viking Helm, Phoenix Wings and Rocket Boots and lifting a Golden Barbell.

One workout, one step up the mountain.

The Climb is a 28-day run on a branching mountain map. You pick the route. The map is sized to how often you actually train: six rows if you lift once or twice a week, twelve if you're in four times.

A six-row Climb, the size for someone who trains once or twice a week. Each node is one workout. Pick your route to the Summit.

A demo with the game's real numbers. In the app, each step is a real workout and a run lasts 28 days.

The Climb map in the app: a grid of connected nodes with the cat partway up, a health and coin counter, and the next step marked as a Fight.

How a run goes in the app

    1. Join the Climb. It's opt-in, and your first run starts straight away.
    2. Train. Each workout moves your cat one step, at most one a day and four a week.
    3. Pick your path. Fights, Elites, campfires, shops, treasure and events sit on the forks.
    4. Reach the Summit. Your next workout is the final strike against the guardian.
    Fight
    Any workout wins it.
    Elite
A big day. Two targets from your last 56 days; hit either one.
    Campfire
A rest day counts. Heal, upgrade a relic, or find a secret key.
    Shop
Spend run coins on relics and heals.
    Treasure
Coins and a roll for new gear.
    Event
Pick an option. Twists only ever add rewards.

Miss a day and nothing happens. Your cat only loses health when you take on an Elite and fall short.

Rest days heal. You can pause a run for up to 14 days. If your cat heads home, you keep every piece of gear.

Train how you train. Your cat follows.

Four stats grow from real training: Strength, Endurance, Consistency and Volume. Your mix of training sets your class. Train in one style for seven weeks and that class unlocks for good, with ten mastery levels and a perk on the Climb.

    • Rookie

Fresh out of the gym bag. Every workout counts.

On the Climb: starts with 20 coins, and the first missed Elite is free.

    • Powerlifter

Heavy weights, low reps. Lives for a big single.

On the Climb: Elites deal 10 more damage.

    • Runner

Happiest on the move. Cardio is home.

On the Climb: cardio days heal 5.

    • Hybrid

Lifts and runs. A bit of everything.

On the Climb: carries a fourth relic.

    • Bodybuilder

Sets, reps and a good pump.

On the Climb: the Shop is 20% off.

    • Calisthenics

Bodyweight master. Pull-ups, dips and push-ups.

On the Climb: bodyweight steps pay 6 extra coins.

A new boss every 28 days.

Each boss is set slightly past your best: a heavier set if you lift, a longer distance or faster pace if you run, more reps if you train bodyweight. Every day you train for it, you land a hit. As you beat them, they come back in heavier armour. Twenty fights in all.

The monthly boss card in the app: the cat hitting the Bronze Treadmill Troll for 20 damage, with the boss at 40 percent health and 17 days left.
    • Iron Golem

A pile of plates with a bad attitude has appeared.

    • Dumbbell Dragon

A dragon made of dumbbells has landed. It breathes chalk dust.

    • Kettlebell Kraken

A kraken with a kettlebell on every arm has risen from the deep.

    • Treadmill Troll

A troll has moved onto the treadmill and won't share. Its belt never stops.

    • Battle Rope Basilisk

Two battle ropes tied themselves into a basilisk. It hisses in waves.

“A rest week? Smart. The Iron Golem hates a well-rested cat.”

    Dress your cat.

Tap a piece to put it on. Anything you found on your run is already marked. This is the app's own art: 107 pieces across head, body, weapon, feet and background.

In the app, gear drops from bosses, Elites, treasure, the weekly quest chest and level milestones. One roll in 25 comes out shiny. It's all cosmetic, none of it is for sale, and you never lose it.

The Quest Board in the app: three weekly quests built from your own lifts, with progress bars and rewards.

    Three quests every Monday

Built from your own numbers, so a beginner and a 600 lb deadlifter both get a fair shot. Finish all three to open the weekly chest.

    121 trophies

For streaks, PRs, total volume and the odd milestone you didn't know you were chasing.

    Not into games?

Quests and bosses, and the Climb, each have their own switch on the Quest Board. Turn them off and there's nothing to keep up with.

The Trophy Room in the app: 21 of 121 trophies earned, with progress bars for the next ones up.

Your cat is waiting by the bar.
